I have been waiting to paint for forever! We painted the living room, hallway, dining room, and kitchen all in one day! I of course had help! Rachel, Jeff, John, and I spent all day taping, painting, and then painting some more. I was so excited to see the finished product. So here are some before and after pictures!Dining Room Before....

#81 Plant flowers in the yard!!!
This one has been very fun and time consuming. I would have never thought that starting a garden would be this involved. Ginette, John's mom, gave me her rose bushes from her yard, since she will not be home this summer to take care of them and will be moving in the fall. I was VERY excited, she is amazing with them. I was also very nervous because transplanting plants isn't always successful. I am still not out of the woods yet but they are looking better everyday! I plated some in the front and in the back. I also got some other plants to go with them. Here are some pictures of the new-to-me flowers!!!
this is the front area. The random circle was already there from the previous owner. That is where our flag pole will go one day.

#85-90 complete!!!!
God blessed me with Ginette and she just happens to loves to make curtains! I am so happy with the end results. I now have curtains in my bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen, office and guest bedroom. I walk in my house everyday and do a double take to see how the sun is shimmering in through the beautiful fabric in my living room and bedroom. Yes, I have pictures... Thanks again Ginette for everything you did. We love you!

And in addition to all those curtains, Ginette also made me some nice accessories to match... Note that the cats LOVE these accessories! She made a pad to fit on the chest at the end of our bed, a pad for the dresser where our Chelsea always lays (not pictured-that's Pebbles), a pillow, and a decorative pad that Wumples is laying on in the box on the floor...

Sneak Peak of #86
As I mentioned last week, my mother in law, Ginette, was in town visiting. We hadn't seen her in forever so she decided to come up and help us with an item on my 101 list. She was a busy bee. We went and picked out fabrics for the living room, office, guest room, and kitchen, and we picked out some pre-made panels to modify and use for the master bedroom and bathroom. She worked all week and completed most of the panels on top of fixing every single pair of pants that needed hemmed, patched, etc., and made dinner almost every night! She truly is amazing. The best part is that we are blessed by God to have such a smart woman in our presence. She is a wealth of knowledge about the bible and God's word. Anyways, here is a couple pictures she took of John and I this week. You can see the living room panels in the background! Once it is painted, it will really make the room finished.

I'll post more pictures, including before and afters, of all of the pics soon!
